United Way of Wisconsin and United Way of Inner Wisconsin 2-1-1 are excited to invite you to a Connected Communities Discovery Meeting in Hayward on Tuesday, April 4th at 2 PM. We will be meeting at the Sawyer County Courthouse Assembly Room in Hayward.
United Way of Wisconsin's Connected Communities Initiative was awarded funds from Serve Wisconsin to conduct 10 community conversations around the state in an effort to learn more about the needs of rural communities, garner input to improve the statewide 2-1-1 system and potentially develop a strategy to assist communities in connecting people to the resources they need.
Through this meeting, we hope to get a better idea of the individual needs of your community, understand efforts that are already underway to address these needs, and determine how United Way and the 2-1-1 resource database can better serve your community.
Thank you to Sawyer County UW Extension for helping to arrange this meeting!
