United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities to advance the common good. In Wisconsin, our statewide network of local United Ways brings together people, organizations and resources to create community-led solutions that strengthen the cornerstones of a good quality of life: education, financial stability and health.

United Ways throughout Wisconsin engage volunteers not only to support programs and extend the reach of services, but also to convene and engage their communities. Volunteers are critical assets to civil society and our communities.

As part of our statewide portfolio, United Way of Wisconsin manages the Volunteer Wisconsin initiative in partnership with Serve Wisconsin. Volunteer Wisconsin is a statewide volunteer system that Wisconsinites can easily access. Volunteers and organizations alike can use the site. Volunteers can search for opportunities near them and in their interest areas; organizations can advertise their opportunities - including virtual and in-person events and ongoing needs. 

We also work in partnership with Volunteer Centers around the state to share data; you can find opportunities listed by volunteer centers in every region of the state!
