United Way of Wisconsin and United Way of Inner Wisconsin 2-1-1 are excited to invite you to a Connected Communities Discovery Meeting in Barron, WI on Tuesday, April 3rd at 1:30 PM.
United Way of Wisconsin's Connected Communities Initiative was awarded funds from Serve Wisconsin to conduct 10 community conversations around the state in an effort to learn more about the needs of rural communities, garner input to improve the statewide 2-1-1 system and potentially develop a strategy to assist communities in connecting people to the resources they need.
Through this meeting, we hope to get a better idea of the individual needs of your community, understand efforts that are already underway to address these needs, and determine how United Way and the 2-1-1 resource database can better serve your community.
